Gombe Stream National Park

Gombe Stream National Park, located along the shores of Lake Tanganyika in western Tanzania, is world-renowned as the site of Jane Goodall’s chimpanzee research. It is the smallest national park in Tanzania, but one of the most fascinating, offering close encounters with wild chimpanzees in their natural forest habitat. The park also shelters baboons, colobus monkeys, forest birds, and beautiful waterfalls.
