4 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro – Midrange

Welcome to the start of your safari and welcome to Tanzania! You’ve chosen a fantastic place for your safari journey and we’ll get you started with an introductory briefing before we head out to begin the trip you’ve been dreaming of. You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and start not less than 6 hours’ drive to Serengeti National park leaving behind most amazing view. You will stop for a Crater view point and enjoy the cold weather and a magnificent view of the crater on top. You will then continue driving toward Serengeti and have Lunch in the middle know where while watching animal passing by.  You will probably also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes and spotted hyenas while you’re here, not to mention so many other animals. You will reach Serengeti late afternoon and have an evening game drive before going back to the camp for overnight.

January is an excellent time here, as the area still holds resident wildlife and is occasionally visited by parts of the Great Migration moving between the south and central plains. You’ll enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of big cats — lions, leopards, and cheetahs — which thrive in this area thanks to the permanent water sources along the Seronera River. Expect to encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and a huge variety of birdlife. Your guide will take you to prime viewing spots for photography and quiet moments to soak in the endless plains that define the Serengeti. A picnic lunch will be served in one of the scenic designated areas inside the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. As the sun sets, you’ll head back to your camp or lodge, with time to relax and enjoy dinner under the stars while sharing stories from an unforgettable day in the wild

Start your day early with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, the best time to spot predators returning from a night of hunting and animals starting their day. The golden morning light makes it perfect for photography and truly captures the magic of the Serengeti. After the game drive, return to the camp or lodge for a hearty breakfast, then pack up and begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a relaxed drive with game viewing along the way, as you pass through the beautiful plains and highlands. Arrive at Simba Campsite, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, in the late afternoon. From here, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views over the crater floor below and the cool highland air. Settle in, enjoy dinner, and prepare for tomorrow’s exciting descent into the crater.

Wake up early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable morning game drive. The early hours are perfect for spotting wildlife as animals are most active — you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and with a bit of luck, the rare black rhino. Enjoy light snacks and coffee/tea during your morning adventure inside the crater while soaking in the stunning views. After several hours of game viewing, return to your camp for a hot brunch, then begin your scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. This marks the end of your amazing safari — filled with unforgettable moments and breathtaking experiences.
