3-Day Tanzania Highlights (Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara)

We will pick you up from Arusha Airport to start your safari straight away, heading towards Tarangire National Park. The drive offers scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and local villages. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. Its vast savannahs and diverse habitats provide excellent game viewing, making it a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.

After breakfast at your lodge near Lake Manyara, you will drive towards the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the caldera, where lush grasslands and soda lakes host one of the richest wildlife populations in Africa. Here you may spot lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and even the rare black rhino. Enjoy a full game drive before continuing your journey across the vast plains of the Serengeti. As you head towards the central Serengeti, known for its year-round predator action and abundant wildlife, you’ll be surrounded by sweeping landscapes dotted with acacia trees and wildlife in every direction. Arrive in the evening at your comfortable mid-range lodge or tented camp in the Central Serengeti, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
